Dear Sir: My son, Fred Somers, I am sorry to report, has not been doing right, inasmuch as he has acted disobediently and has set my authority at defiance. I have requested Mr. Geo. J. Farmar to look after him. Very respectfully, (signed) Chas. Somers. Additional Comments: George Farmar was an arresting officer. Letter on printed business stationery: Somers Bros. & Co., Commission Merchants. Founded October 1876. Twenty-third year. Receive and handle in car loads or less, all products of the garden, orchard, dairy, hennery and farm. Conduct track sales daily. Mixed or straight car loads. On Liberty Street, near Diamond Market.
