Complaint brought before Frank J. Shellman, Alderman of Allegheny County, by 
Samuel Robinson, father of Samuel Robinson, born Jan. 8, 1885.  Uncontrollable 
and incorrigible; will not attend school. (signed) Saml Robson, 1517 Prebel 
Ave., Allegheny. 
   Ruth Robinson, mother of said Samuel, corroborates her husband's statement.

   Ellen Hendricks, grandmother of said Samuel, deposes the same.  Signed by

Notes made at time of the boy's arrival at Pennsylvania Reform School, Morganza:
   Samuel Robinson, No. 5689, Division C.  Parents living at 1517 Preble Ave., 
Allegheny, Penna.  Father Samuel Robinson a teamster for Lea & Hamilton.
   Sent here for not going to school, disobedience.
   Description: height 4'7", weight 77 pounds.  Brown hair, dark blue eyes, 
medium complexion.  No marks.
   Age 14 Jan. 8, 1899; received May 23, 1899.  Born in Penna. of American 
parentage.  Attends what church: N.P.  Father intemperate, mother not 
intemperate.  Parents do not own property.  3 younger brothers, 1 younger 
sister.  Can read & write.  Swears, lies, steals, uses tobacco.  Is not 
intemperate.  Has been arrested before.
