Impossible to keep home and away from bad company. On Thursday night, Jan. 26, he was caught in company with other boys robbing a store room in this city. (signed) Mrs. Alise V. Derr, M.L. Derr George Gray of McKeesport testified to knowledge of the same. Edith B. Blackburn of McKeesport testified the same. Additional Comments: Notes made at time of the boy's arrival at Pennsylvania Reform School, Morganza: Frank Derr, #5652, Division C. Parents living at 926 Jenny Lend St., McKeesport, Pa. Father, M.L. Derr, assessor for 3rd Ward. Sent here for entering hdwe store and taking money, etc. Description: height, 4'8"; weight 78 pounds. Brown hair, gray eyes, medium complexion. Scars on upper lip, one vaccine mark on left arm. India ink spots near base of left thumb. Scar on front of right leg near groin. Age 14 July 31, 1899; received Jan. 30, 1899. Born Pa. of American parentage. Methodist. 1 older brother, 1 younger brother; 2 older sisters, 1 younger sister. Can read & write. Swears, lies, steals. Does not use tobacco. Has been arrested before.
