The father of said Frank has been dead for eleven years, the mother is demented. The boy is uncontrollable, runs away from home, will not go to school, steal, associates with bad & vicious companions. Said infant was born May 18, 1886. (signed) E.B. Zwickert. Deposition of Edward Zwickert Jr. and Mary A. Dolan states that boy is uncontrollable (no details or relationships given) Additional Comments: Note taken at time of the boy's arrival at Pennsylvanis State Reformatory at Morganza: Frank Dolan, No. 5304, Division A. Father dead. Mother, Mrs. Winnie Dolan (demented) living somewhere in Pgh. Boy has been living with guardian Mr. Edwd Zwickart at Sewickley, Penna. Sent here for running away from home, not going to school. Description: height 4' 4", weight 61 pounds. Dark brown hair, blue eyes, dark complexion, pug nose. One vaccine mark on left arm. Age: 11 on May 18, 1897; received Apr. 5, 1897. Born Penna. of American parentage. Catholic. 1 older brother, 2 older sisters. Can read and write. Swears, lies, steals.
