Dark hair, brown eyes, dark complexion, dark eyebrows, coal scar near center of forehead. Star on right forearm. Spot near base of right thumb in India ink. Age: 16 on Sept. 28, 1897; received Mar. 24, 1897. Born Penna. of Scotch parentage. Methodist. Father intemperate, mother not intemperate. Parents own property. 2 older sisters, 1 younger sister. Can read & write. Swears. Does not lie, steal, use tobacco; is not intemperate. Has not been arrested before.
