Kuhn of Oakmont. father of Edward Porter Kuhn, a minor born March 23, 1882. Uncontrollable; does not work steadily, jumps freight cars, tramping in the country & begging, thereby destroying his clothes. Comes home dirty, and when he does work he purloins a portion of his wages. When home he abuses his brothers and sisters and is very abusive and disrespectful to his parents. Mary Alice Kuhn, mother of Edward, deposes exactly the same. Additional Comments: Notes written upon the boy's arrival at the Pennsylvania Reform School at Morganza: Edward P. Kuhn, #5737, Division F. Parents living at Oakmont, Allegheny Co., Pa. Father, David Kuhn, an architect, now a cripple. Sent here for running away from home, not working. Description: height, 5'6"; weight 113 pounds. Dark hair, brown eyes, dark complexion, scar across bridge of nose. One vaccine mark on left arm. Age 17 on Mar. 23, 1899; received Aug. 12, 1899 Born Penna. of American parents Church: U.P.
