All around bad boy, will not go to school; incorrigible and uncontrollable. Mrs. E. Rosa, 2724 Cobden St., and J.J. Eulenstein, Truant Officer, testified to the same. Additional Comments: Notes made at the time of the boy's arrival at the Pennsylvnia Reform School at Morganza: William Brosin, No. 5678, Division B. Mother dead. Father Gustave Brosin, a laborer living at 2426 Saulsbury St., Pittsburgh, Pa. Sent here for not going to school, disobedience. stealing, running away from home. Description: height, 4' 6 1/2"; weight 70 pounds. Light hair, very light blue eyes, fair complexion, pug nose. Age: 11 on July 1, 1899; received Apr. 19, 1899. Born in Penna. of German parents. Lutheran. Father intemperate, does not own property. 1 younger brother; 1 older sister. Can read & write. Swears, lies, steals; does not use tobacco, is not intemperate. Has not been arrested before.
