Uncontrollable, will not go to school or stay at home. Has been away from home for several weeks at a time and has been arrested five times on charges of vagrancy and incorrigibility. (signed) John Scott, Nov. 5206 Holmes Street, Pittsburgh. Louis Kwoczalla deposes that he knows William John Scott well. I know of his having been arrested; know that he will not go to school; know of his having been away from home on two occasions without his parents' consent; know that he has often slept outdoors at night. Parents living at 5206 Holmes St., Pittsburg, Penna. Father, John Scott, a laborer. Sent here for running away from home, not going to school. Description: height, 5'1"; weight, 90 pounds. Brown hair, blue-gray eyes, medium complexion. Some freckled. Scar from cut in left eyebrow. Scar from cut on back of right hand. Two vaccine marks on left arm. Age: 13 on Apr. 30, 1899; received July 3, 1899. Born in England of English parentage. Presbyterian. Parents not intemperate, do not own property. 2 older brothers, 1 younger brother, 1 younger sister. Can read & write. Swears, lies, uses tobacco. Does not steal, is not intemperate.
