Brown buwbrown@comcast.net June 6, 2008, 11:56 am Letter from J.M. Dodds, Confluence, PA, to J.A. Quay, Supt. Reform School, Morganza, Pa.: Please inform me if you have had a boy at the school name of Charles Hewitt. He has worked for me and in conversation have found that he worked for a butcher in Cannonsburg by name of Wilson. I found him to be dishonest and discharged him. Last night he was discovered about to rob a house in town. I think he may be an escaped inmate of the school. Additional Comments: Letter written on business stationery: Hotel Dodds, J.M. Dodds, proprietor. Opposite r.r. station. Steam heat, electric lights, $2.00 per day. Commercial men's headaquarters, sample room.
