Statement: J.F. and J.L. Scott ("and J.L." crossed out in red ink), Pittsburgh 
Stair Building and Wood Turning Shop, No. 48 Water Street, Pittsburgh.  Stair 
building in all its branches promptly attended to.  Hand rails worked to order 
with all joints cut and bolted, ready to put up.  Wood turning of all kinds.  
Orders respectully and promptly attended to.  Telephone 509.  John F. Scott, 
Joseph L. Scott (the latter name crossed out). 

Additional Comments:
Another statement, dated Aug. 30, 1894, is the same except that the firm is 
simply "John F. Scott."
