Klinesmith is my son. He was born in the year of 1854, on the 24th day of December. He is not 18 years until 24 day of December 1872. His conduct has been bad for the last year. He has come home under the influence of intoxicating liquor and used very bad language to his mother and has sometimes even went so far as to use his hand to strike me and on last Saturday he made a threat that he would fix me for stopping his wages and I am positive that he is beyond my control. Now he has left my house altogether. Jane Klinesmitt's sworn John P. Klinesmith's conduct has for the last year has been very bad. He has got in the habit of staying out sometimes all night without either my consent or my husband's. We have always tried to treat him as well as we could.
