Brown buwbrown@concast.net July 19, 2008, 9:00 am Letter from William Groves, Manager, Globe Tailoring Co., 129 Fifth Avenue, Pittsburgh, "to whom it may concern": This is to certify that Louis Geiger has worked for us as a tailor. He is steady, reliable and (illegible word). Note at bottom of the page, evidently by someone at the reform school: address, L. Geiger, 66 Bedford Ave, Pittsburgh. Attached to the Globe letter is a handwritten note of the same date from A. & P. Tailoring Co., Pittsburgh, "to whom it may concern": The bearer, Mr. Lewis Geiger, has been in our employ as cutter and coat maker during the last season and has given satisfaction in every respect. He leaves us now of his own accord on account of dullness of trade. The gentleman is steady, sober and industrious, and well qualified to fill the position he seeks.
