Taylor, Kittanning, Pa.: Indenturing Committee informs me that you may have the girl you spoke about when in Pittsburgh. Answer written on same letter: Mrs. Taylor went to Pittsburgh last week but left without making any definite arrangements. I don't know exactly what girl is intended. References: Judge Buffington, Kittanning; Josiah Coaply, Allegheny (signed) J.M. Taylor Additional Comments: In pencil on reverse:Mary Maloney & Sarah A. Gray. In pencil on top of letter: Mary Maloney on parole for Dr. Taylor wages for the present $1 per month. Also Sarah A. Grey to be indentured.
