Request from J.H. Helfer of Pittsburgh that his son Maurice be taught 
telegraphing and typewriting at the Pennsylvania Reform School.  Boy was at 
present a messenger boy, but was learning those trades prior to becoming a 
messenger boy.  

Additional Comments:
J.H. Helfer listed in 1900 census for Pittsburgh as Jacob H. Helfer, Rabbi, 
with wife Fannie, son Morris nd other children.
