Adams, 6230 Penn Avenue, E E Pittsburgh, Pa., to Mr. (James)Quay, Supt., Western Pennsylvania Reform School, Morganza, Pa.: I understand that their (sic) will be an opening for a drill master at Morganza. I respectfully make application for the position. I have had 28 years in the State N.G.P. and 4 years of that time a captain in the 18th Reg. NGP Can give good referance (sic) as to character. Feel satisfied that I could give satisfaction and would be willing to take it on trial....
