from the FAMILY BIBLE of 
John and Charlotte Kelker Marshall

	John Marshall [1803-1889] and Charlotte Kelker [1800-1854] were married 01 February
1827, in Butler, Butler County, Pennsylvania.  They settled by 1832 in Lawrenceburg,
Armstrong County, Pennsylvania [now Parker, Pennsylvania], where they reared their
children.  Charlotte died in 1854, just nine days before her youngest son Frederick
died.  John Marshall lived another 35 years.  They lie buried in the Marshall plot of
the Presbyterian Cemetery in Parker--a few feet from the burial place of Johnís brother
Samuel, and their kinfolk the Hoveys and the Robinsons.  Marshall was the third child of
the emigrant ancestor, John Marshall, and his wife Catharina Truby Rohrer Marshall.

	I copied the following records from the John Marshall Family Bible in August 1977.  It
then was in the possession of Charlotte Turk Dean, their great-granddaughter and their
last direct descendent to live in Parker.  The notations marked with an asterisk [*] are
in the same early handwriting-- perhaps that of John Marshall.  Other notations were
penned by later hands.  Iíve retained the original spellings.
