Beatty, son of William and Isabella. The petition follows: To the Honorable the judges of the orphans court of Armstrong County The Petition of Hamilton K. Beatty, guardian of Isabella, Mary Ann and William W. Beatty, minor children of William W. Beatty, late of Manorville Borough in Armstrong County deceased respectfully shows. That your petitioner was heretofore to wit on the eighth day of September A. D. 1870 appointed by this honorable court the guardian of said minors and as such has acted until the present time. That by reason of your petitioners professional and other engagements it has become inconvenient for him now to properly attend to and manage the estates of said minors. That two of said minors to wit Isabella and Mary Ann are now above the age of fourteen years. That your petitioner herewith presents a full and entire account of the money, chattels and property of said minors that have come into his hands or possession as such guardian and prays your honors that he may be discharged from the duties of said appointment and that your honors will appoint some suitable person to take charge of the person and estate of the said William W. Beatty minor child under the age of fourteen years of said William W. Beatty deceased and will permit the said Isabella and Mary Ann Beatty to make choice of some suitable person to take charge of their respective persons and estates. signed H. K.
