All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Lynn Beatty klbeatty@redrivernet.com August 14, 2006, 9:26 am Written: April 1, 1814 Articles of agreement made and agreed upon and written by William Beatty on the one part and George Anthony on the other part witnesses that the said William Beatty hath sold a tract of land to the said George Anthony laying or situate in Armstrong County, Allegheny township, adjoining Samuel Beatty's on the Allegheny River the tract containing three hundred and forty-two eagers and allowance given in and also to make a clear deed of 10 eagers of or out of _____ Beatty's tract adjoining where house barn and _____ is on and all improvements adjoining the _____ William Beatty binds himself to convey clear deeds for the said lands fee simple to the said George Anthony and said Anthony binds himself to pay $5/eager to the said William Beatty that is to say $500 in hand and the rest in yearly gails (sic) that is to say $150/year till the hole (sic) amount is paid. Will Beatty binds himself to give _____ possession against the first day of April to the said George Anthony that is to say all buildings and improvements against April 1814 by the said Anthony paying $500 in hand and bonds and securitys (sic) for the remainder moneys above mentioned and said Beatty bind himself to deliver the deeds to the said Anthony at the delivery of the first _____ and bonds against the first day of April 1814.
