Miller This Indenture made the 31 day of October A.D. 1899 between Catharine Miller, widow of Christian Miller Dec'd, Margaret Copenhaver, widow of Samuel Copenhaver dec'd born Miller, Caroline Shaffer intermarried with Lewis C. Shaffer, born Miller, Jane Shaffer intermarried with John C. Shaffer, born Miller; S. M. Miller and Elizabeth Miller his wife all of Redbank Township, Armstrong County Penna, and Rachel Dibler intermarried with Henry Dibler born Miller, of Jefferson Co. Pa. A.G. Miller and Mary Miller his wife of Clarion Co. Pa. all of which are legal heirs and representatives in law of Christian Miller late of the Township Redbank in the county of Armstrong and the state of Penna. deceased, parties of the first part and Christian M. Miller of Redbank Township in the county of Armstrong and the State of Pennsylvania of the second part. Witnessed that the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of Four hundred and fifty ($450.00) Dollars lawful money of the united States of America to them will and truly paid by the said party of the second part at and before the sealing and delivery of these present, the receipt whenof is hereby acknowledged, remised, released and quit claimed and by these presents, remise, release and quit claim unto the said party of the second part, and to his heir and assigns forever. All that certain measurage, or tract of land situated in the township of Redbank County of Armstrong and state of Pennsylvania bounded and described as follows. viz: Beginning at a dog wood corner being the south east corner of John Shick land, thence by land of John Shick west one hundred and fifteen (115) perches to a stone, Thence by other land of the first party south one (1) degree west, fifty five and sixtenths(55 6/10) perches to a stone. Thence by same land east one hundred and fifteen(115) perches to a stone, thence by lands of the second party. North one(1) degree east, fifty five and six tenths (55 6/10) perches to the place of beginning. Containing Forty(40) acres strict measure being part of the same premises which Charles C. Gaskell by Indenture bearing date the 28th day of February A.D. 1846 for the Consideration therein mentioned did convey and confirm to Philip Houpt, Administrator of the Estate of Michael Copenhaver and in trust for the heirs of the said Michael Copenhaver deceased and the heirs of the said Michael Copenhaver after they become of age by Release Deeds did convey their interest in said land to the said Samuel Copenhaver. Conveyed by Samuel Copenhaver to Christian Miller and his heirs the present grantors by Deed dated the 7th day of May A.D. 1867 Recorded in the Recorders Office of Armstrong Co. in Deed Book Vol. 80 page 552. Reference hereunto had will more fully and at large appear. Together with all and singular the tenements handtenements and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining and the revisions remainders rents, issues and profits thereof. and also all the estate right title interest property claim and demand as well in law as in equity of the said parties of the first part of in or to the above described premises and every part and parcel thenof with the appurtenances. To have and to hold all and singular the above mentioned and described premises together with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever.
