Died at the hospital, Washington, D. C., November 2d, 1863, Mr. Winfield S. Davis,
of Co. B, 18th Reg't Pa. Cav., son of Philip and Esther Davis, of Elderton,
Armstrong Co., Pa., aged 25 years, 2 months, and 27 days..  He was buried at Ash
grove Cemetery; (Soldiers' Burial Ground,) two miles from this place.
