Eincle E. Himes, 95, Rochester Mills RD1, died Sunday, Aug. 14, 1988 at his home. A son of Joseph & Amanda Snyder Himes, he was born April 20, 1893 in Dayton. Mr. Himes was a member of the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church of Punxsutawney. He was a retired coal miner & farmer. Surviving are his wife, Arminta Himes; one daughter, Mrs. Dwight (Ida) Beatty, Gibsonia; 5 sons: Earl, Dayton; Ellis Erie; Melvin, Reynoldvlle; Andrew, Meadville; Robert, Rochter Mills; 28 grandchildren, 45 geat-grandchildren &9 grt-great grandchildren; a brother Russell Cadogan; 2 sisters: Bess Maurer, Dayton; Pearl McElrvy, Warren, Ohio. He was preceded in death by 2 sons, Roy & Merle; a daughter, Ruth; 2 sisters & 2 brothers: Anna Troutman, Elvie Brocious, Christopher & Bartholow. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Monday in the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, Punxsutawney, with Rev. Kenneth Davis officiating. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Rochester Mills. The family suggests memorials may be made to the Tape Ministry of the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, Punxsutawney."
