Presbyterian banner. (Pittsburgh, Pa.) 1860-1898: March 25, 1863
Killed January 2d, 1863, at the battle of Murfreesboro', James M., son of William
and Mary Irwin, of Belknap, Armstrong County, Pa., aged 20 years, 6 months and 17
days. He was shot in the right temple. A child of the covenant and a brave soldier,
Peace to his ashes. Honor to his memory.
