The death of John McAteer occurred at his home in South Bend township, Armstrong
county, near Eldersridge, on Tuesday morning, June 20, 1916, at 4:30 am,
hardening of the arteries, aged 71 years. He is survived by his wife, but no
children. Funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock,
interment to follow in the Eldersridge Cemetery.
