CHARLES W. PRESLIPSKI, Gilpin Charles W. Preslipski, 75, of Ice Pond Road, Gilpin, died at 6:45 p.m. Friday in his home. Born Dec. 18, 1919, in West Leechburg, he lived in his home on Ice Pond Road the last 45 years. An Army veteran, he served in World War II. He was a furnace operator at Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corp., West Leechburg Works, for 38 years before retiring in 1977. Mr. Preslipski was a member of the Retirees of United Steel Workers of America in Leechburg. He enjoyed hunting and gardening. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Anna Mae Hollenbaugh Preslipski. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Mary Demetruyk Preslipski; two brothers, Peter and Michael Preslipski; and two sisters, Anna Guy and infant sister, Nancy Preslipski. Friends will be welcomed by his family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Clawsons, a Community Care Funeral Home, Second at Main Streets, Leechburg, where funeral ceremonies will be at 10 a.m. Monday.
