William M. Saunders, died at 2:45 o’clock Tuesday morning, February 19, 1941, at her home in Uniontown, after a brief illness of complications. She was born April 20, 1861 in Fayette City, the daughter of the late William and Melinda Brown Troth. She was married in Fayette city in 1889. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Mary Durian, of Canton, Ohio; a sister Mrs. Cora Campbell. Uniontown, and three grandchildren. Another daughter and two sons preceded her death. Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon, February 20, at the home with the Rev. Clarence W. Kerr, pastor of the Third Presbyterian church in charge. Burial was made in Sylvan Heights cemetery. Mrs. Saunders had a number of friends in New Bethlehem and community who will regret to learn of her death.
