    Marion Mae Shreckengost, 84, of Box 169, New Bethlehem RD 1 (Putneyville), 
  Mahoning Township, Armstrong County, died at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2003, 
  at Clarview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Sligo RD 1.   Born July 15, 
  1919, in Erie, she was the daughter of Marlin Beatty and Mazie (Rumbaugh) 
  Beatty.   A homemaker, she was a member of the Putneyville United Methodist 
  Church.   She was married in September 1937 to Daniel Shreckengost, who 
  preceded her in death in October 1989.
   Surviving are four children, Larry Shreckengost and his wife, Barbara, of 
  East Northpoint, N.Y., Rickey Shreckengost and his wife, Cheryl, of New 
  Bethlehem, Deanna Shick and her husband, Dutch, of Meadville, and Arleen Pence 
  and her husband, Clyde, of New Bethlehem; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-
  grandchildren.   She was preceded in death by a brother, Morris Beatty, and a 
  granddaughter, Kayla Shreckengost.   Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 
  p.m. Friday and 9 to 11 a.m.  Saturday at the Alcorn Funeral Home, Hawthorn.   
  Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. 
  Roger A. Smith of the Putneyville United Methodist Church officiating.
