  Leader Vindicator 
  Miss Elizabeth Shoup, a lifelong resident of Tidal, Armstrong county, passed
  away at her home Monday morning, January 4, 1937, at 5 o'clock, after an illness
  of a few weeks.  She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Louis Shoup.  For
  many years she was engaged in the mercantile business at that place.  She is
  survived by one brother, Guy Shoup, of New Kensingoton, and several nieces and
  nephews.  She was a faithful member of the Tidal Presbyterian church.
  	
  Funeral service in charge of Rev. H. A. Gettman, Stated Supply of Tidal church
  will be held from the late home this Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.  The
  funeral sermon will be delivered by Rev. Walter Kennedy, pastor of the Templeton
  Presbyterian church and a former pastor of Mrs. Shoup.  The interment will take
  place in the Tidal cemetery.
