  Leader Vindicator 
  Sarah Catherine Shreffler died at her home at Sugar Valley, Red Bank Township,
  Armstrong County, Monday, April 5, 1937.
  
  Mrs. Shreffler was the daughter of John and Catherine Wolfgang Lucas, and was
  born July 19, 1861.  She was married to S.L. Shreffler, who survives with the
  following children:  Harry and Samuel Shreffler of Akron Ohio; Myron Shreffler
  of Dora, Penna; Grant Shreffler, at home; Mrs. Harry Reichard, Sugar Valley;
  Mrs. Floyd Hillliard, Corbettown; Mrs. J. B. Shick of Mudlic.
  
  She is also survived by thirty-six grandchildren, fourteen  great grandchildren,
  and four brothers; George Lucas, Hawthorn; John Lucas, Shannondale; Jacob Lucas,
  Sigel, and Isaac Lucas, Mayport.
  
  Funeral services were held in the Evangelical Church at Hawthorn, of which she
  was a member, Thursday, April 8th, with the Reverend M. V. Kelly, officiating. 
  Burial under the direction of H. H. Sloan was made in the Hawthorn cemetery.
