  Leader Vindicator 
  Eva Mae Simmers, aged 50 years, 1 month, 3 days, died at 7:00 P.M. June 6, 1927,
  in her home at Distant.  Deceased was born in Ohio May 3, 1877, a daughter of
  Rev. A.A. and Cynthia (Rogers) Sparks.  On June 20, 1894, she was united in
  marriage with J.G. Simmers who survives.  
  	Funeral services will be held at 2:30 Thursday afternoon in the Oakland Baptist
  church with Rev. J.W. McKinley officiating.  Interment under the direction of
  Charles W. White, will be made in Oakland cemetery.
