Market St., Kittanning, died at 10:45 p.m. Sunday in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital where he was a patient for the past 12 days. A life-long area resident, he was a retired employee of Logansport Distillery. He was a member of St. Luke's United Church of Christ and the MORA Club, both at Kittanning. Born Feb. 23, 1885 in Manor Township, he was a son of Samuel E. and Mary (Mechling) Waugaman. Surviving are his wife, Maude (Nulton) Waugaman; four sons, Barclay E. and Harry J., both of Freedom, Roy T. of Kittanning, William N. of Wilmington, Del.; two daughters, Mrs. John (Viola) Welsh of Kittanning RD 3, Mrs. John (Sara) Whelan of Kittanning; a sister, Mrs. Agnes Walker of Ford City; 12 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Friends of William Andrew Waugaman, who died Sept. 17, 1972, will be received at the Amberson C. Bauer Funeral Home, Kittanning. Visitation hours are 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, conducted by his pastor the Rev. Richard H. Taylor. Burial will be in Kittanning Cemetery. Arrangements by Bauer.
