Comment: Born in New York according to the 1850 Freeport 
census No burial record in Freeport records. The lot also 
contains Elizabeth Hewitt who d. in 1866,an infant who d. in 
the same year, Josiah K Hewitt who d. in 1882, Margaret 
Hewitt who d. in 1889 and Robert Hewitt who d. in 1884,
