Dr. W. P. McCullogh
1812 - 1867

Comment: d. Sept 17 1867,Aged 55 Yrs. William P McCulloch 
was a physician who lived in Apollo, Armstrong Co in 1850 
with wife Martha and daughter Mary. By 1859 he had moved to 
Freeport where he joined the locally raised 78th Regiment 
during the Civil War as a surgeon. His name also appears on 
the Torbett-McCulloch-Cook monument close to his grave.
