Comment: Co C 139 PA Inf. Joseph Jerome Weinel was the s/o 
Leopold Weinel and Elizabeth Wiester b. Jul 28 1840 in 
Leechburg, Armstrong Co,PA. He enlisted in the 139th PA 
Infantry on Jan 9 1862 and served until Jun 21 1865. He d. 
in Westmoreland County on Jan 5 1914,
