Will Registered Feb. 16, 1851 Volume 1 Page 430, Estate 911 "In the name of God, Amen.I, Martha Beaty of the Township of Buffalo, the County of Armstrong, and State of Pennsylvania, being weak in body, and of sound mind, memory, and understanding, and considering the uncertainty of this transitory life, do make and publish this, my last will and testament in manner and form following, to wit: First, it is my will and I do order that all my just debts and funeral expenses be duly paid and satisfied as soon as conveniently can be done after my decease. Second. I give and bequeath to my son, John Beaty, one bedstead and chiffibeau, one sheet, two pillows and pillow slips Third. I give and bequeath unto my daughter, Satah, my brown cow Fourth. I give and bequeath to my daughter, Isabella, my brindle cow And it is my will that they, viz, Sarah and Isabella, shall give unto my grand daughter, Martha I. Caldwell, a good young cow when she arrives at the age of maturity, and also I do hereby leave in care of my daughter, Isabella, a bed and bedding, as follows, to wit:. A shaff bed, , the new feather bed, a set of pillows, two sets of pillow slips, two good blankets, a red, white and blue coverlet, and a new fine peach calico quilt and a flannel comfort, all which shall be given to her together with the above mentioned cow, when she arrives as above mentioned ,or when she should really stand in need of them. Fifth and further, it is my will that the notes left in the hands of my executor be collected as soon as they come due, in order to meet the demands against my estate, and the remainder after such demands be fully settled up, to be divided equally between my two daughters, Sarah and Isabella, and I do nominate, constitute and appoint Andew W.
