 Note: This will has been re-written by Register, so hand writing and signature are
not original
 " Know all men, by these presents that I, David Beatty, of North Buffalo Township,
Armstrong County.and State of Penna. being of sound and disposing mind and memory,
do make and publish this, my last will and testament
 To my beloved wife, Sarah Beatty, I give and bequeath, in lieu of dowry, her
keeping during her life, or seventy five dollars per annum out of each of the three
parties  into which I have divided it, which ever she shall prefer.
 Second. I give and bequeath to my eldest daughter, Louisa J. Duffy the sum of three
hundred dollars
 Third. I give and bequeath to my second daughter, Sarah Boggs, the sum of three
hundred dollars.
 4th. I give and bequeath to my third daughter, Elizabeth G. Reed the sum of three
hundred dollars 
 5th. I give and bequeath to my fourth daughter, Margaret M. Beatty, the sum of
three hundred dollars, also my sorrel mare and my dun cow.
 6th. I give and bequeath to my fifth daughter, Nancy F. Kiskaddon, the sum of
three hundred dollars
 7th. I give and bequeath to my sixth daughter, Mary A. Keener, the sum of three
hundred dollars
 I give and bequeath to my eldest son, J.L. Beatty,  all that part of my farm
bounded on the North by the public road, running from Meals Corner to the blacksmith
shop  and by the fence running  from the B.S.S. to McClatcheys, on the south by
lands of J.S. Adams, and W.K. Blain, and on the east by lands of W.M. Meals, also
all that part of my farm east of Buffalo Creek and North of John Halls line.,
which is already secured to him by deed.
 I give and devise to my second son, A.C. Beatty,  all that portion of my farm
bounded on the east by Buffalo Creek, and the fence west of the buildings running
north and south, to the south by the fence running  by the blacksmith shop to
McClaskeys line, and on the west and north by lands of Chas. McClaskey
 I give and bequeath to my third son, R.M.Beatty, that portion of my farm bounded on
the east by lands of John A. Hall, and on the south by road from Meals Corner
bridge, and on the west and north  by Buffalo Creek, Also that portion bounded  on
the west by fence west of the buildings, on the North and East by Buffalo Creek, and
on the South by fence running B.S. S. to the McClatskey line together with the
flouring mill water privileges
 And all the remainder and such residue  of my goods, chattels, and effects 
whatsoever and wheresoever, the same and any part and parcel thereof to my second
son, A.C. Beatty
 The money bequests mentioned herein shall not become due until the expiration 
 of three years from the date of my death when they shall be paid equally by my
three sons. I hereby appoint my sons J.L. Beatty and A.C. Beatty my executors of
this, my last will and testament. In witness whereof, I have set my hand and seal
