That is to say that I give and bequeath unto my sons, William W. Caldwell and Samuel S. Caldwell, the whole of my real and personal estate subject to the leins or incumberances. After my body is decently burried and all lawful depts paid, it is my will and command that the above named William W. and Samuel S. Caldwell do, out of the above named personal and real estate, give their mother, my beloved wife, a good and sufficient and comfortable sustanence as long as her life lasts or remains my widow. She always gaving a good and comfortable bed and bedding at her own desposing. It is also my will that each of my three daughters, Nancy Jane, Mary Ann, and Martha E M. Caldwell have each of them a good bed and bedding and also that Nancy J. and Mary Ann get a sa! ddle a piece and over and above that the above named William W. and Samuel S. Caldwell bind themselves to pay over to their above named sisters to each one of them the sum of two hundred dollars commensing on the second year after these writings take effect, not obligating themselves to pay more than one hundred dollars yearly in three equal parts in stock, trade or money, or in any way that will best suit those concerned. I also will and bequeath all the remaining part of the above named real and personal estate, it lying in Armstrong County, Cowanshannock Township, the real estate deeded to Robert Caldwell by Joseph Whitacre. I do bequeath all the remaining parts of the same to my two sons William W. Caldwell and Samuel S. Caldwell to be divided equally between them for their own proper use and behalf and I make and deem my two sons William Wallace Caldwell and Samuel S. Caldwell executors of this, my last will and testament and I do hereby authorize and empower the above na! med executors a good and sufficient deed for the aforesaid real estate in for sample whenever called so to do in writings hereof. I have here unto set my hand and seal this twenty first day of August, one thousand eight hundred and fifty four.
