We encourage links to the state and county table of contents. ____________________________________________________________ I, Philip Deemer Sr. of the Township of Kiskiminetas in the County of Armstrong and State of Pennsylvania being of Sound mind and memory but considering the frailty of this mortal life do make and Publish this my last will and Testament and first I assign my Spirit to God who gave it and my boddy to be buried in the dust of the earth in a Christian manner and as to such worldly Goods as it has pleased God in his Providence to intrust me with I wil as followes first I allow al my just debts and Feneral expences to be paid by my executors herein after to appinted as soon after my decs as posable out of my personal property and to my wife Nancy I wil and bequeath all my house hold furniture such as Beads and beding an whatsoever belonges to me and one Cow and one third of the proceeds of the farm during her natural lifetime and as to my Real estate the farm I now reside on Containing Two hundred acres I wil and bequeath to my Nephew Daniel Deemer and Leah his wife during thare natural lifetime and at thare death to thare two sons John Deemer and George Deemer Share and Share alike, and provided that my son Frederick Deemer Remains on whare he now resides during my lifetime then I will and bequeath to him that poartion of Land on which he now resides, supposed to contain say ten or twelve to Begin at Andrew Keiv Corner, thence down the wheet field fence to Apiset the Peach Orchet fence to the line of Phillip Deemer Jr. and Provided that the said Frederick Deemer should leave the said premises before my death, then the said premises to be and remain to and with the premises as before devised and as to my Daughter Caroline Entermarried to Absolam March I wil and Bequeath the house and lot she now resides in during her natural lifetime and at her death to faul back to my Real estate Provided she continues to reside on the same if not then to faul back as before provided for and now I appoint my Friends John Carson and James Barr my Executors of this my Last Wil and Testament with full power and athority to doe and perform all things nessasary to and about the premises I witnefs whereof I have heare unto set my hand and Seal this twenty fifth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty three. Bowman Register of Wills of the County of Armstrong, the Judges of the Court of Common Pleas of Armstrong county hereby certify that in persuance of a precept issues to this court by the Register of Wills of Said County to try the validity of a certain writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Philip Deemer dated 25th of May 1863, an order was made by this court, on the 14th day of March AD 1866 Directing a Feigned issue to be framed to try the validity of said Writing wherein Daniel Deemer Shall be Plaintiff and Philip Deemer Jr. George W. Deemer and James K. Deemer Should be defendents and that upon Declaration Plea & Replication filed the Cause came on for trial and a verdict of a Jury was returned on the 10th day of September AD 1866 and Judgment thereon entered by the Court on the 15th day of September AD 1866 in favor of Daniel Deemer the Plaintiff, thereby Sustaining and affirming the validity of said writing purporting to be the last will & testament of the said Philip Deemer Sr. dated the 25th day of May 1863 and that the said precept with the will annexed is herewith returned to your office to be proceded in according to Law By the Court Dec. 10th 1866 Extract from Record attest John G. King, who being duly sworn, say they well and truly, without prejudice of partiality, apprase and value the Goods, Chattels, and Credits, which were of Philip Deemer Senr. of Kiskiminetas Twp, Deceased, and in all respects perform their duty as Appraisers according to the best of their skill and judgment Sworn and subscribed before me this James Wherry 12th day of Feb. 1866 W.G.
