Willbook #1, page 31, Estate 96 Will of Peter Klinglesmith Sr. of Allegheny Twp., Armstrong Co., PA, 1818 In the Name of God Amen, I Peter Klinglesmith Sr. of Alleghany Township, Armstrong County and State of Penna. Farmer being very sick and weak of Body but of sound mind memory & understanding Blessed be to God for the same but considering the uncertainty of this transitory Life do make & Publish this my last Will & in manner and form following to Wit - Principally & first of all I command my Immortal Soul unto the hand of God who gave it and my Body to the Earth to be Buried in a Decent Christian like manner at the Discretion of my Executors herein after mentioned and as to such worldly Estate wherewith of hath pleased almighty God to Bless me with in this Life I gave & Dispose of in the manner following to Witt- I gave & bequeath unto my Three Sons John Henry & Adam Klinglesmith my Plantation I now reside on in said Township & County & State aforesaid to be Equally Divided amongst them or in the manner they so cause when Adam Comes of Age but not [undecipherable] and likewise. I gave & devise unto the aforesaid three sons of mine all my Horses Cows Sheep Hogs Farming Utensils Household Furniture and effects of every kind whatsoever. I gave & Devise unto the rest of my children George Peter Daniel Margaret Shaffer Mary Shaffer Catherine & Christina one Hundred & Fifty Dollars of Bonds on Jacob Landas & Jacob Smith the same to be Equally Divided amongst them when the bond is surrendered[?]. I likewise gave & devise unto my daughter Catherine one Cow one Pot Six Pewter Plates one Pewter Dish one dozen large pewter plate six spoons one Feather Bed & Bedsteads and likewise. I gave & devise unto my Daughter Christina one Cow one Pot six Pewter Plates one Pewter Dish six spoons one Feather Bed and Bedsteads & one large Pewter Plate & one Spinning wheel and to my Daughter Catherine one Spinning Wheel. & as touching all the rest of my Estate real & Personal of what kind or nature so ever the same may be I gave & devise to my three sons John Henry & Adam or their children or their successors of them Equally divided between them. & Lastly I Nominate Constitute and appoint my two Sons George & Henry Klinglesmith to be the Executors of this my last will and Testament hereby revoking all other Wills Ligaues[?] and bequest by me heretofore made & Declaring this to be y last Will & Testament In Witness Whereof I have set my hand & seal this 5th day of march 1818. his Peter X Klinglesmith {seal} Mark Signed Sealed & Published & Pronounced and declared by the said Testator as his last will & Testament in the presence of us who in his presence and at his bequest have subscribed as Witness Philip Bolen Margaret Bolen Armstrong County SS Before me Eben Smith Kelley Register for the probate of wills and granting letters of administration in and for said County, personally came the before named Philip Bolen Esq. And Margaret Bolen who being duly sworn according to law depose and say that they were present and saw Peter Klinglesmith the before named testato sign seal publish pronounce and declare the foregoing instrument of writing as and for his last will and testament; that at the time of his doing so he the said Peter Klinglesmith was of [?] and sound mind and memory; and that they signed their names as witness to the said instrubment in the presence of the sadi Peter Klinglesmith and at his request.
