This Indenture made the second day of April Anno Domini eighteen hundred and Eight Between Benjamin CHEW, Junior of the County of Philadelphia of the one part and Charles MORROW of the County of Beaver in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania of the other part. Whereas certain articles of Agreement bearing date on or about the twenty-ninth day of November in the year seventeen hundred and ninety nine were made and entered into by and between the aforesaid Benjamin CHEW, Junior and the aforesaid Charles MORROW for the improvements and settling of certain lands in the said Articles reference therein to being had may more at large appear. Now this indenture Witnesseth that the said Benjamin CHEW Junior for and in consideration of the said Articles of Agreement and for and in consideration of five shillings to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents by the said Charles MORROW the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargained and sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released, and confirmed and doth hereby bargain and sell, alien, enfeoff, release and confirm unto the said Charles MORROW, his heirs and assigns: All that lot or tract of land being part of a larger tract called "Chester" situate on the waters of Beaver Creek in the County of Beaver which was granted by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to the said Benjamin CHEW, Junior, by patent bearing date the fourteenth day of January 1806 the said hereby bargained and sold tract beginning at a hickory the corner between the hereby bargained premises and other land of the said Benjamin CHEW, Jun'r. North three hundred perches to a black oak thence east one hundred and seven perches to a maple thence south three hundred perches to a post thence west one hundred and seven perches to the place of the beginning Containing and laid out for two hundred acres be the same more or less Together with all and singular the woods, ways, waters, water courses, improvements, hereditaments and appurtenances there to belonging or appertaining and the reversions or remainders rents revenues and profits thereof and all the estate right, title, interest use and claim of him the said Benjamin CHEW, Junior of in to or out of the same. To have and to hold the said described tract of land premises with all and every the hereditaments and appurtenances hereby bargained and sold or intended so to be the said Charles MORROW his heirs and assigns. To the only proper use and benefits of the said Charles MORROW his heirs and assigns forever. Be it remembered that on the second day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eight before me one of the Justices of the Peace in and for said County personally appeared William CAIRNS and on his solemn oath did declare and say that he saw the within mentioned Benjamin CHEW Acknowledge the within Indenture for the purpose therein mentioned.
