WITNESSETH: That the said parties of the first part for and in Consideration of the sum of eighty dollars lawfull money of the United States unto them well and truly paid by the said party of the second part before the sealing or delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledge, have granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released, conveyed and confirmed, by these presents doth grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release, conveyed and confirm unto the said William MCCONAHY, his heirs and assigns all the following described piece of land situate in Shenango Township, County and State aforesaid to wit: Beginning at a post on the North boundary line of said Charles MORROW and thence South two degrees East twenty two perches to a post thence North eighty eight degrees East by land of said MORROW thirty perches to a Black Oak sapling thence North eighty eight degrees East by land of said MORROW two degrees West twenty two perches to a small hickory thence by land of Zachariah TINDALL South eighty eight degrees west thirty two perches to the place of Beginning Containing four acres and twenty perches neat measure being part of a larger tract of land called Amsterdam situate in said County which was granted by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to Benjamin CHEW, Junior by Patent and being dated the 22 day of April 1808 conveyed two hundred acres of said tract to Thomas MORROW who by his last will and testament bearing date the 14th day of January 1840 bequeathed the north division of his portion to Charles MORROW aforesaid, who by these presents convey the within four acres and twenty two perches of land being a portion of his portion to the said William McCONAHY. TOGETHER with all and singular the buildings, improvements, ways, waters, water-courses, rights, liberties, privileges, hereditaments, and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise belonging or in any wise appertaining and the reversions and remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof. And all the estate rents, right, title, interest, property, claim, and demand whatsoever of them said parties of the first part in law, equity, or otherwise of, in, and to the same, and every part thereof TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said described four acres and twenty two perches of land hereditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned or intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said William MCCONAHY, his heirs and assigns and for then- only proper use and behoff of the said William MCCONAHY his heirs and assigns forever and said parties of the first part for themselves their hen's executors and administrators doth by these presents covenant, grant and agree to and with the said William MCCONAHY his heirs and assigns that they the said parties of the first part their heirs all and singular the hereditaments and premises herein above described and granted or mentioned and intended so to be, with appurtenances unto the said William MCCONAHY, his heirs and assigns against them the said parties of the first part and their heirs and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents In Witness Whereof the said parties of the first part have hereunto set their hands and seals. JACKSON RECEIVED the day and the date of the above Indenture of and from the above named William MCCONAHY the consideration money within mentioned in full. Charles MORROW BEAVER COUNTY SS: Personally appeared before me the subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and for Beaver County, Charles MORROW and Jane his wife the grantors above named and acknowledged the within foregoing Indenture to be their act and deed and desire the same might be recorded as such. She the said Jane being of full age, separate and apart from her said husband, by me examined, and the full contents of this Indenture being made known to her by me, acknowledged the same to be her voluntary act and deed without coercion or compulsion of her said husband and desires the same to be recorded as such for the purposes therein expressed.
