MCCONAHY Ent'd June 19th 1850 This Indenture made the sixteenth day of December one thousand Eight hundred and forty three Between Jesse MORROW and Caleb JONES of Beaver County, State of Pennsylvania and William MCCONAHY of the county and State aforesaid of the second part. Witnesseth That the said Jesse MORROW being in former year in possession of and held as his own a certain piece or parcel of land Situate and lying in Shenango Township Beaver County Penna upon the eastern Shore of Big Beaver creek which right and claim to said land is yet claiming to hold and Recover back the possession of the Same And whareas the said Caleb JONES and the said Jesse MORROW having recently entered into Articles of Copartnership, in the recovery of the said part or parcel of land. And Whereas the said William MCCONAHY being in possession of a hereinafter described part or parcel of the aforesaid tract of land Therefore know ye that we the said Jesse MORROW and Caleb JONES do by these presents for a valuable consideration of fifty Dollars to us in hand paid by the said William MCCONAHY at and before the ensealing and conveyed and by these presents doth grant bargain Sell and release to the Said William MCCONAHY all their rights title interest and claim to the Same hereinafter described part or parcel of said tract of land Surveyed August 2, 1837 by Joseph HOOPS that is to say begining at a post on the Towing path above the Hardscrabble dam and runing thence North 87 degrees East Eighteen perches to a Red oak Thence North 40 degrees east nine and six tenths perches to a white walnut thence north 83 1/4 degrees West twelve and five tenths perches to a Beech thence north 88 ‡ degrees East eight perches to a Shugar Tree thence north 31 ‡ thence north 39 degrees west nine and seven tenth perches to a Rock thence South 45 ‡ degrees west eight perches to a white oak thence South sixty two degrees east Six and eight tenth perches to a post thence by land of Thomas MORROW south two and one half degrees east one hundred and nine perches to a post on Northsewickley Township line Thence South 87 ‡ degrees west twenty one perches to a post on the piece thence North 46 1/4 degrees west sixty perches along the said Road thence north 32 degrees west twenty three perches to a Sycimere thence North 40 degrees west twenty perches to the place of Begining containing thirty six Acres one hundred and twenty five perches be the same less or more Together with all and singular the building improvements ways watters watter courses rights and liberties priviledges hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise Appertaining To Have and to hold to him the said William MCCONAHY his heirs and assigns all the right title interest property claim and demand which is vested in the said Jesse MORROW and Caleb JONES and their heirs or assigns to the aforesaid described lot or parcel of land And they the said Jesse MORROW and Caleb JONES do by these presents severally and Singly hereby release discharge and forever quitclaim to the land described as aforesaid and ====== from any other person or persons whatsoever claiming or to claim the Same from by to or under them or either of them or their heirs or assigns any part or parcel of said lands discribed do by these presents forever release and discharge In testimony whereof the said parties to these presents have hereunto Set their hands and Seals the day and year First above written.
