All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Donna Mohney. dmohney@westol.com Beaver County, PA Deeds ASSIGNMENT Volume 23 PAGE 58 NICHOLAS BOOK TO JOHN MCCONAHY ENT'D 31st JULY 1845 KNOW ALL MEN by these presents, that I, Nicholas BOOK, and Mary his wife as party named in the with in Indenture for and in consideration of the sum of Three hundred Dollars lawfull money of the United States, to us in hand paid by John MCCONAUGHEY at or before the ensealing & delivery hereof , the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledge, have granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released and confirmed, & by these presents do grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release and confirm unto the said John MCCONAUGHY, his heirs or assigns, all our estate, right, title, interest and claim of the within Indenture Also all our right, title, interest property, claim or demand to the premises therein contained or in anywise appurtaining unto the premises therein mentioned. And we the said Nicholas BOOK & Mary his wife, for themselves, their heirs or assigns, doth devise, release and confirm in fee simple unto the said John MCCONAUGHY his heirs or assigns the within Indenture and appurtenances therein mentioned. Be the only proper use and behoof of him the said John MCCONAUGHY his heirs & assigns forever. In testimony whereof, we the said Nicholas BOOK & Mary his wife have hereunto set our hands and seals this 17th day of December 1835. Nicholas BOOK Attest Hugh MCKEE BEAVER COUNTY SS: Before me, the subscriber, a Justice of the Peace in and for the said County, personally came the above named Nicholas BOOK & Mary his wife and acknowledged the above assignment to be their act and deed, and desired the same to be recorded as such. She the said Mary being of ful age and by me duly examined separate and apart from her husband did declare that of her own free will and accord, and as her act and deed, sign seal and deliver the same without any coercion or compulsion of him her husband.
