All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Steve Bloomquist. bloomqst@cfacts.com Beaver County Deed Book 82, Page 429 DEED Heurici and Leuz Trustees To John Von Allman No. 7 Filed Oct 4th 1880 This indenture made the twenty fourth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty nine between Jacob Heurici and Jonathan Leuz, trustees of the Harmony Society at Economy, in the County of Beaver, and State of Pennsylvania parties of the first part, and John Von Allman of the borough of Beaver Falls, in the county of Beaver & State of Pennsylvania of the second part, Witnesseth, that the said parties of the first part (by virtue of the Power vested in them by a certain instrument of writing, dated the 12th day of August, AD 1847, and recorded in the office for recording deeds in and for the County of Beaver aforesaid, in Deed Book No. 215, page 121, R. L. Baker one of the trustees named in said instrument having died the said Jonathan Leuz was, by virtue and in pursuance of the authority contained in said instrument, elected and appointed a trustee in his stead) for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars to them well and truly paid by said party of the second part, at and before the delivery hereof, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained, sold, aliened, released, conveyed and confirmed and by these presents, do grant, bargain, sell, alien, release, convey and confirm unto said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, all the following described real estate, situated in Beaver Falls, Beaver County aforesaid, to wit: All that certain lot or piece of ground being lot numbered eight hundred & fifty one (851) in the Economy Plan of lots in said Beaver Falls, bounded as follows viz: on the north by Lot No. 850: on the East by Sherman Alley: on the South by Lot No. 852: and on the west by Thomas Street, being forty three feet more or less in width or front on said Thomas Street, and extending back therefrom of equal width one hundred and forty five feet more or less to said Sherman Alley. It being part of the same premises, that by virtue of divers good conveyances and assurances, duly had and executed, became vested in James Patterson, Esq. who, together with his wife, Eliza by Deed, dated the first day of February, A.D. 1853, recorded in the office aforesaid, in Deed Book No. 31, pages 543 &c. conveyed the same to M.T.C. Gould, and which afterwards, W.W. Irvin, Esq. Sheriff of the County of Beaver by his deeed poll, under his hand and seal, dated the 14th day of September, A.D. 1859, for the consideration therein mentioned, did, by virtue of a certain writ of Levari Facias issued out of the Court of Common Pleas of Beaver County, against the said M.T.C. Gould, and therein recited, grant and convey unto the said parties of the first part, grantors herein, as by the said deed poll, duly acknowledged, and recorded in the office aforesaid, in Deed Book No. 40, pages 427 &c. relation thereto being had appears. Together with all and singular the buildings improvements ways, waters, water-courses, rights, liberties, privileges, hereditaments, and appurtunances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining, and the reversions and remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof, and also all the estate, right, title, interest, property, claim and demand whatsoever, whether in law or equity, of them, the said Trustees, or of the said Society, of, in and to the same any (sic) every part thereof, To have and to hold the said above described lot or piece of ground hereditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned, and intended so to to (sic) be, with the apurtunances, unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, to and for the only proper use and behoof of the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns. And the said Trustees, for themselves, and for said Society, do hereby covenant and agree to and with the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, that they, the said Trustees and said Society, all and singular the hereditaments and premises above described and granted, with the appurtunances, unto the said party of the second part, his his (sic) heirs and assigns, against them, the said Trustees and said Society, and their heirs, and against every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same, or any part thereof, by, from, through or under them or any of them, Shall and will Warrant and forever Defend. Before the subscriber, one of the Justices of the Peace in and for said said (sic) County, came the above named Jacob Heurici and Jonathan Leuz Trustees of the Harmony Society, and acknowleged the above Indenture to be their act and deed as such Trustees, and desired that the same might be recorded as such.
