Mosca 10/28/2007 Norman J. Mosca, 93, of Beaver Falls and formerly of West Bridgewater, died Friday, October 26, 2007, at the Franciscan Manor. Born October 14, 1914, in Beaver Falls, he was a son of the late Ceasar and Ernesta Cantoreggi Mosca. He retired from the Babcock & Wilcox shipping and receiving department in 1977 and worked for 10 years at the Wolfe Pharmacy in New Brighton. Norman was a World War II Army veteran, awarded both the Bronze Star and Purple Heart, and obtained the rank of First Sergeant with Company A, 50th Armored Infantry Bat., 6th Armored Division. He was a member of the New Brighton American Legion Post 19. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha W. Pike Mosca, on July 8, 2006, and his sisters, Flora J. and Evelyn L. Mosca. Surviving are two daughters, Carol Ann McKelvey, Beaver Falls, and April Marie Swager, Monaca; a son, Mark E. Pike Sr., Midland; a daughter-in-law, Lucile Pike, Fort Wayne, Ind.; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received today from 6 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 10 a.m. in the SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1901 Seventh Ave., BEAVER FALLS. Pastor James Draganac, of the Road to Emmaus Baptist Church, Monaca, will officiate. In lieu of flowers, it was Norman's wish that expressions of sympathy can be made to the American Legion Post 19, 415 13th St., New Brighton, Pa. 15066, or the Beaver County Humane Society, P.O. Box 63, Monaca, Pa. 15061. The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff of the Franciscan Manor for their great care and kindness. Full military honors will be conducted by the Beaver County Special Unit at 11 a.m. at the cemetery (Beaver Falls Cemetery).
