I, John Beaty, of Beaver County, in the State of Pennsylvania, being weak in body, and sound mind ,memory, and understanding but considering the uncertainty of this transitory life, do make and publish this, my last will and testament in manner and form following: First, It is my will and I do order that all my personal expenses be paid and satisfied as soon as posssible after my decease 2nd. I give snd bequeath to my dearest wife, Anne, the use of the farm on which I now reside during her natural life. 3rd. I give and bequeath unto my dear wife the room in the Northwest corner of the house in which I now reside with as much room of the house as may be necessary for her comfort, also two beds and one bureau, with sufficient fuel, meat, and drink for her comfort during her natural life. It is my will and meaning that my ssid wife be not restricted, but live with the family as she has done during my life, but in case change takes place in the family, that my said wife be left the privilege of choosing her own way of living. I give and bequeath to my said wife and my daughter, Eliza Jane Shannon all the remainder of my personal property to be used by the family as it has during my lifetime. 5th. I will and bequeath all the money that I may have, and all that I may have due me, the one half to my said wife and the other to my daughter, Eliza Jane Shannon. And as touching all the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, real or personal including my farm and all other of my property whatsoever, at the decease of my said wife, I give and bequeath it all to my said daughter, Eliza Jane Shannon and her heirs forever And lastly, I nominate, constitute and appoint my said wife, and my son in law, Joseph Shannon, to be the executors of this, my last will, hereby revoking all other wills, legacies and bequests by me hereto fore made, and declare this, and no other, to be my last will and testament. In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fifteenth day of January One Thousand, Eight Hundred and Sixty Two.
