It was registered 14 Nov 1831, about a week after his death. It is recorded in Will Book B, page 29, Beaver County courthouse at Beaver PA. It reads: "In the name of God Amen: I Michael Sadler of the County of Beaver and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania being old and infirm but blessed by God of sound mind and memory calling to mind the mortality of all flesh do make this my last will and testament, In the manner following (Viz) First of all I bequeath my body to the earth to be decently interred and my soul to God who gave it in hopes he will raise it up at the last day. Item I bequeath to my son Jacob sixty seven dollars and twenty five cents. Item I bequeath to my son Conrad sixty three dollars and twenty five cents. Item I bequeath to my daughter Polly now the wife of Peter Fox sixty five dollars and twenty five cents. Item I bequeath to my son David seventy three dollars and twenty five cents. Item I bequeath unto my son Michael eighty five dollars and twenty five cents. Item I bequeath unto my daughter Betsy Hakethorne seventy nine dollars and twenty five cents. Item I bequeath unto Catherine Young the wife of Philip Young seventy nine dollars and twenty five cents. Item I bequeath unto Barbara Harps seventy nine dollars and twenty five cents. Item I bequeath unto my daughter Sally seventy nine dollars and twenty five cents. Item I do will my Bible to my daughter Barbara Harps. Item I do will my Book called true Christian to my son Michael. Item It is my last will and testament that if God should spare me and that I should become chargeable to whom soever I lived with the last of my days that they should be first to be paid out of my estate before all other debts or legacies. Item and I do bequeath that after my decease all my lands and tenements goods and chattels be sold and if they do not amount to the sums I have willed that there be a deduction accordingly and if they amount to more to be deducted equally amongst my children according as I have willed the same. And I do appoint William Cairns Esquire executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all other wills and testaments heretofore by me made.
