Levi HETRICK: no dates or family records, just his name from Calvin HETRICK. Transcriber's Note: My great uncle, Calvin HETRICK, said there were 42 graves in the cemetery but didn't know the names of all of them. There are field stones that are worn completely smooth. Uncle Calvin and his sister Essie HETRICK FREEMAN were the last of the HETRICKS to live on the homestead, and it was sold 1971 and they moved to a retirement home in Martinsburg. They are buried in the KOONTZ Church Cemetery. DIRECTIONS TO CEMETERY From Loysburg, take Rt.1005. That is the road that goes from Loysburg across Snake Spring Mountain. There is a road to the left that is just before you cross a little bridge. The road is not on the map of Bedford County that I have. It makes a big bend and comes back out on to 1005. Go approximately one and a half to two miles. There is a house that sits right along the road, with a dirt lane beside it. Go up that lane and look to the right. The cemetery is in a field on a hill. If the field is planted in corn, it will not be visible in the summer, but in the fall you can look across and see the Koontz Church over on the main road.
