Notice of Inquisition.
Whereas, Dr. William W. Reed late of South Woodberry Township. Bedford County, died
seized of the following described Real Estate, to wit. four certain parcels or
tracts of land, one thereof being the mansion tract containing one hundred and
sixteen acres more or less, adjoining lands of George Replogle, Benjamin Yoters,
Peter Rock and Abraham Eversole, also, one tract of Mountain land containing two
hundred acres and allowance, adjoining land of David Snowberger, David Miller and
others, also, one other tract of Mountain land, containing about forty-five acres,
adjoining land of Jacob Working, Christian Coughendorfer and others, also, an
interest of one third part of a tract of land containing fifty acres, adjoining
lands of Benjamin Yoters and Frederick Stoler.
Leaving a widow, since deceased, and three sons to wit: Aaron Reed, William Reed and
Nathan P. Reed, to whom after the death of the said widow he divided all his real
estate to be equally divided among them.
Notice is therefore hereby given that in pursuance of a writ of partition or
valuation, to me directed I will proceed to hold an Inquisition or Valuation on said
premises on Friday the 2d day of Novtmber 1860. When and where all patties
interested may attend if they see proper.
