[ It being the same lot of ground which the Honourable John Penn the Younger, by his attorney Anthony Butler and John Penn the Elder, by his attorney John F Mifflin, by their Indenture, dated the tenth day of August in the year of our lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety two, conveyed to a certain Neal McMullen, in fee; which the said Neal McMullen and Elizabeth his wife, by their Indenture dated the seventh day of February A.D. one thousand seven hundred and ninety three, conveyed to a certain James Heyden, in fee; which David Reiley Esquire, then High Sheriff of the County of Bedford, in pursuance of a Writ of Venditioni Exponas to him directed, issued out of the Court of Common Pleas of the same County of Bedford, at the suit of Meeker, Cochran & Company against the said James Heyden, said and, by his Deed dated the first day of March A.D. eighteen hundred and three, conveyed to a certain Terence Campbell, in fee; and which the said Terence Campbell, by his Indenture dated the twenty fifth day of April A.D. one thousand eight hundred and nine, granted and conveyed to the above named Robert Shannon in fee, as by the said several in part recited Instruments of writing, recorded in the office for Recording Deeds in and for Bedford County, reference being thereto had, may more fully and at large appear.] TOGETHER with all and singular the buildings, and improvements, thereon made, are erected; profits, commodities, advantages, emoluments, hereditaments, and appertenances whatsoever to the described house and lot of ground belonging or in otherwise appertaining, and the reversions, remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof; also, all the estate, right, title, interest, use, possession, property, claim and demand, whatsoever of them the said Robert Shannon and Mary ~~~~his wife in law, or equity, or otherwise whatsoever, of, in, to or out of the said described House and lot of ground ~~~~~~~ belonging, or in any part thereof; together with all true copies of deeds, evidences and writings, touching and concerning the hereby granted premises, or any part, or parcel thereof; to be had and taken at the costs and charges of the said Elijah Adams his heirs and assigns, TO HAVE AND TO HOLD, the said house and lot of ground as above described, and the premises, hereby granted, mentioned, or intended to be, with the appertenances, unto the aforesaid Elijah Adams his heirs and assigns forever, to his and their only proper use, benefit and behoof, and to, and for, no other use, intent, meaning, or purpose whatsoever; Free and clear from all and every incumbrance whatsoever ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ AND the said Robert Shannon and Mary ~~~~~his wife for themselves, and their heirs, do covenant promise, grant and agree, to, and with the said Elijah Adams, his ~~~~heirs and assigns, by these presents, that they the said Robert Shannon and Mary ~~his wife and their heirs, the above described house an lot of ground hereby granted, bargained and sold, with the appertenances, unto the said Elijah Adams his heirs and assigns, against them the said Robert Shannon and Mary ~~ his wife and their heirs, and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever, Legally claiming, or to claim, the said, or any part thereof, ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ shall and will warrant and forever defend.
