All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/bedford/ ________________________________________________ Bedford County, Pennsylvania Hopewell Township Deed Book K, Pg 314 Dated 2 May 1815, Recorded 11 Jun 1816 JOSHUA KELLEY to WILLIAM YOUNG Know all men by these presents that I JOSHUA KELLEY of the Township of Hopewell in the County of Bedford & State of Pennsylvania of the one part & WILLIAM YOUNG of the township, county & state aforesaid of the other part, Witnesseth that I the said JOSHUA KELLEY hath & by these presents doth grant bargain, & sell unto the aforesaid WILLIAM YOUNG a certain improvement & tract of land situate in the aforesaid township adjoining lands of the aforesaid YOUNG be the same more or less for the consideration sum of Twenty Dollars current money or payment whereof the said KELLY doth acknowledge the receipt & for myself & heirs do make over all right, title interest & claim of all & singular of the above improvement & all lands claimed thereby to the said WM YOUNG his heirs & assigns to the only use & behoof of the WM YOUNG his heirs & assigns forever & the said JOSHUA KELLY for himself heirs & executors doth covenant & agree to have & to hold the above described improvements with all its advantages unto the said YOUNG's heirs & assigns & doth hereby made over all my right invested in me & all under one or by from or under me will warrant & forever defend In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this 2d day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifteen.
